How Do I Meet People?

Our church is not a place for spectators. It is a place for team members. Whether you are a five-year old child, a ninety-five year old grandmother, a busy mom, or a businessman with big responsibilities, we want you to be a part of our vibrant church community. Here is how you can learn, serve, and grow at this church.

Young Ambassadors Team (YAT)

Every Sunday morning beginning 9:30am and ending at 10:45am our Young Ambassadors Team meets consistently for one purpose: to Investigate and search out Biblical Truths and Biblical Promises. The Young Ambassadors Team are between 5 years to 9 yrs. We know Children are like sponges, Its time their minds get full of the Knowledge of God. At AFCC our Young ministers are learning their Kingly Citizenship and how to put on the Armor of God and raise their Shield of Faith. During classes The Word is their priority therefore, they Learn how to apply it to their daily lives during any challenging situations that they may face. The Bible teaches Adults and Children alike saying, “Trouble won’t last always”. It is exciting to see Children in their Thirst for the Lord in this setting: Iron Sharpens Iron. They are growing to know how to better deal with troubling things that rise up during the Day and Night. A lot of Children go through various difficulties, It’s time we hear their Hearts cry. We Mentor our children in order to establish a fortified bond of Faith that cant be broken.

AFCC’s Youth Minister’s Leadership Team provides them with a good outlet to effect an Extraordinary Change that ministers to the needs of Children. Prayer changes things. Our Children expect that the Holy Spirit is present to hear their Prayer request. Each child grows at their own pace. The Purpose is that our Children, as little ministers of reconciliation, speak into the hearts of other Children and compel them to come. YAT are in training learning how to Till the ground of its weeds as they grow together in the knowledge of God. Our children get to participate in their own Ministerial classes. Bible lessons are taught in such a way that every child gets to participate and learn. Each of the class teachers have been carefully screened and thoroughly trained in children’s instruction. The youth ministry of our church is recognized for their meaningful interaction with kids.

Young Adults

Life can get complicated once you cross that nebulous threshold into adulthood. There are complicated decisions. Bigger stakes. Serious relationships. And a whole lot more decisions. The young adult group at our church provides a welcoming atmosphere for college and early-career aged young people.

Women’s Accountability Group

Recovery is a Road worth taking.  Our Women’s group gives the ladies in our church family special times of interaction. They are located in several locations throughout our community for times of Bible study, prayer (and, of course, food). These groups provide a refreshing discipleship opportunity for the women in the church.

Men ‘s Accountability Group

Accountability among men is an act of integrity. Accountability is designed to protect, encourage, and develop men of all ages. Accountability groups are encouraged to consist of three to four men each. These small groups meet together as their schedules allow and keep in touch by email or phone.

Married Couples

Even though marriage is one of the most important institutions, it is the one which is under the most attack–internally and externally. The church gives married couples the opportunity to join four month marriage classes including topics such as Marriage and Money, Getting Ready for Kids, Shepherding Children, and Marriage and Sex.

Today 40’s-50’s are like the 30’s Whether retired, just plain tired, or active as ever, life has just begun.. The Master has a plan. Whether you like to sing or dance this ministry has something for you,
